A luncheon was hosted by the Bladen Nursing Leadership on Thursday, March 31, to welcome new Nursing Graduates that have chosen to do their preceptorship here at Bladen County Hsopital.
The new graduate preceptor program allows for upcoming graduates to be partnered with a more experienced nurses and prepare them for role transition from student to nurse. The Bladen preceptors are experienced nurses that function with the highest quality standards of care and act as role models for the new graduates.
The luncheon allowed the preceptor and preceptee to meet, review schedules and ask questions in an informal setting.
“We are hopeful that the preceptors will choose to become part of the Bladen Nursing team once they complete their Nursing Boards,” said Donda Evans, CNO.
